1)        What do I stand to gain by attending the training?

By attending the training, participants stand the chance of enhancing their skills and knowledge thereby increasing their probability of securing suitable employment.  The training equips participants with skills that are necessary in securing maintaining and excelling on a job. These skills are divided into two categories key skills and personal attributes

2)        Are employers deeply concerned about employability skills?

In most jobs it is difficult to effectively utilize employees that lack employability skills. Most employers would prefer if job applicants already possess the foundational ‘life’ skills needed as a platform on which additional body of knowledge can be built. In this regard, they would prefer to hire people who are trained and ready to go to work. However, they are ready to provide other specialized, job-specific training necessary to effectively perform functional responsibilities.

3)        What is the duration of the training?

The training programme runs intensively for 120 hours and it covers all the areas of Employability Skills. It also covers coaching on how to attend interview to better prepare candidates for encounter with employers.

 4)        How do I qualify to enroll on our scheme?

To qualify for this programme, participants must possess any of the following qualifications;

  • OND/NCE
  • BSC/HND
  • Final Year Graduate
  • NYSC completed/on-going

 5)        Will I get a certificate for attending the programme?

Yes. Certificate of completion will be issued at the end of the programme to successful candidates.

6)        How do I apply for the programme?

7)        Will there be examinations at the end of the programme?

Yes. Ongoing participant assessment will take place all through the programme.

8)        What is the code of conduct?

  • Participants will be required to demonstrate high level of discipline throughout the programme period.
  • Lateness to class and any form of indiscipline will be penalized and candidates can be ejected from the scheme at anytime during the duration of the scheme for issues bothering on indiscipline or act of insubordination.
  • Any participant found to have falsified any information provided by them especially in the areas of age, academic qualifications, class of degree; etc will be automatically disqualified from the scheme.
